Shocking beauty. How's that for a resume?"-Playboy Fans and people who don't really know me call me Willa...Friends and family all call me Mandy. My actual name is Amanda Lee Williford. Lotsa people know me and love to hate me for the simple reason that way back in the day, I dated Nick Carter from BSB, but there's a lot more to me than what people know, or the judgements they pass on me. For a while I had the most hate websites on the internet because of that relationship and the accusations about it, thankfully that's died down. Below is a little more in depth run down of the REAL Mandy Williford, all rumors aside.  When I was 8 years old, I started singing with the Tampa Bay Children's Choir. At the age of 11, I started the professional level of my career by being enlisted into the children's performing arts troupe, Entertaining Revenue in Tampa, FL. We performed all over nearby theme parks such as Busch Gardens and Disney World. Later, at the age of 15, I joined a girl group entitled FLA. Since that didn't last long, I struck out on my own to achieve my hopes and dreams as a solo artist. The first track I released was a song called "Lullaby" on the 1st Pokemon Soundtrack but obviously, that didn't propel me into super stardom. The first taste of real success for me was "I Wanna Be Bad" off my debut album "Willa Was Here," and my last hit single was "A Toast To Men" aka "Fuck the Men." It would have been on the album "SexySexObsessive" but when the music industry turned into a corporate world out for nothing but controlling me and turning me into what they thought they could market, I decided to shelve my music career for a while and concentrate on other things I could be more in control of. Like acting, and whatever else came along that seemed fun at the moment. Now, though I'm wrapped up in the movie world, I'm also officially back in the studio. As cliche as it is to say, I'm going back to my musical roots. I guarantee the music to come from me will be nothing like you've heard before. In addition to music I've also worked on numerous tv shows. I've been MTV's red carpet correspondant for many awards shows, also co-hosted their show I Bet You Will, and Say What Karaoke. Besides that, I've participated in Pantene's ProVoice tour, hosted The Ultimate Fighter on SPIKE TV, and had small roles in Raising Dad, and The Mind of a Married Man. You might've also seen me in several magazines including, STUFF, FHM, Blender, Maxim, even Playboy (the music issue, Feb '06). Yeah I was fully naked, but it was done tastefully, no spread eagles or touching myself. My Mom was there with me for goodness sakes! Besides I had more fun getting naked and doing that shoot than I'd been having in the studio struggling and fighting with record execs to turn my songs into what I wanted and thought they should be so it's all good right? Most recently, I was featured in InStyle showcasing different looks for weddings. I recently finished filming a movie called Impulse, where I star as a woman who has a fling with a look alike of her dead husband who just happens to be psycho. Interesting stuff, and of course there was staring in Anna Nicole Smith, a biography of her life, which I'm sure you heard about. Both should be set to release sometime this year. Oh yeah, and if you were lucky, you might've seen me performing live as the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls Las Vegas lounge show over the summer of 2006. After that, I served as the quarterback, #6, for the Dallas Desire team in Lingerie Bowl III, and most recently on TV you could catch me on ABC's "reality show" Dancing with the Stars. My partner was none other than the immensely sexy and handsome Maksim Chmerkovskiy. He and I had great chemistry; we were on fire when we danced together, and I am so thankful for the great friendships and oppurtunities I'm walking away with. We were the 5th couple to leave the competition. Hopefully, though, I can cash in on the offer from Sara Evans for us to write songs together at some point.  I'm sure a lot of people are wondering about my personal life so I'll indulge you a little bit...Right now, I'm in love with an amazing guy who happens to be in the entertainment industry as well. Many of you have probably heard of him, his name is Alex McLean. We've been together almost a year now and I can honestly say this relationship is nothing like any other I've been in. I'm happy, he's happy, Lexi's happy to be living with us instead of her Mom, and just a little over a month ago, we celebrated the arrival of our baby boy named Jaden Alexander. We've already been through a lot in our time together, and I can't wait to see what else is in store for us in the future. So, as you can see, I'm pretty cut and dry about all aspects of my life. If you've gotta question, feel free to ask me, chances are I'll be happy to give you an honest answer. I don't hide from the truth, there's no point in that when you're in the industry that I am. So anyway, don't hesitate to talk to me. I may seem like the "bitchy, bad girl", but really, I'm just like everyone else. I put my jeans on one leg at a time in the mornings and I order my lunches and dinners all on my own. I don't have "people" who cater to my every whim, and I never wish to. My career is just that, when I'm home, I leave my career at the door as much as possible. | |||||||||
